Oyster Soup


Oyster Soup Recipe:
What makes the flavor of this soup distinctive is the oyster that added. Oyster soup is a tasty and refreshing dish that won't leave you hungry.
 
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
 
Utensils:
Saucepan, bowl.
 
Serves 2
 
Ingredients: (P1&2)
1 cup rice
1 cup oats
1 tbsp.chopped scallion
1 tbsp.freshly grated ginger root
3.5 oz./100g raw oyster meat, rinse well
1 tbsp.ground black pepper
1 tsp.salt, or to taste

Directions:
1. Add 1 cup rice and 1 cup oats in a saucepan with enough water to cover, bring to a boil over high heat, then lower the heat and keep the soup on a steady simmer for 5 minutes.
2. Add the ginger and raw oyster meat into the soup, cook over medium heat until the oyster have set (P3).

3. Taste for salt and ground black pepper and adjusting seasoning if necessary.
4. Ladle into wramed bowls, for an added touch, try top with a sprinkling of chopped scallion before serving (P4).
