
Ingredients
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 pound fresh Brussels sprouts, ends and outer leaves trimmed
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, rosemary, oregano or sage
Directions
- Crisp the bacon in a small pot over medium-high heat. Fry until browned and crispy. Add a splash or two of water and the Brussels sprouts. Season with salt and pepper, cover with a lid and steam for about 8 minutes, until bright green and tender. Stir in the herbs and serve immediately.
