Stewed Pear with White Fungus and Rock Candy Recipe:
Pear and white fungus are always great together, here they combine to make a very tasty and refreshing soup that you really need to have a try.

Serves 3
Ingredients:
2-3 pieces of white fungus2 pears, peeled, cut into 1-inch cubes10 red dates, seeded, cut into half5 rock candyCups of water
Directions:
1. Soak the white fungus in warm water, about 20 minutes, then trim off the stems and drain through a sieve to remove any dirt or sand, then cut into small pieces.
2. Put the white fungus and pear cubes into a pot, add 5 rock candy, cover with enough water, turn to high heat and cook for 20 minutes, add water if needed.
3. Then add red dates and dail down to simmer for another 15 minutes until cooked.
4. Ladle into warmed bowls and serve hot.
